What's in it for us?
Having read the history of this beautiful country I'm convinced we are wasting our time and money. It's a tribal society. It's a Muslim country. We have nothing in common. If there were no Afgans it would make a great global health spa. But, as there are Afgans, and it's their country I think we should abandon our "Busybody" foreign policy and let them evolve at their own pace.
That means another 1,000 years of isolation. So be it. It's the will of Allah. But ... until they stop growing poppies for the weak minded US drug addicts I say: no foreign aid; no immigration to the USA; no trade of any sort, (treat them like we treat Cuba).
